Applications
UV absorber UV-9 is a broad-spectrum UV absorber characterized by high absorption efficiency, non-toxicity, teratogenicity-free properties, and excellent light and thermal stability. It simultaneously absorbs both UVA and UVB radiation. Approved by the U.S. FDA as a Category I sunscreen agent, it is widely used in sunscreens, creams, lotions, oils, and other sun protection cosmetics. It also serves as an anti-discoloration agent for products prone to color changes due to photosensitivity.
