Introduction;
Silica gel is a type of low-crosslinked density silicone rubber without fillers. Unlike ordinary silicone rubber elastomers, silicone gel appears as a transparent or translucent gel with very low mechanical strength. Its hardness is difficult to measure and is generally characterized by penetration. In addition to the advantages of general organosilicon materials such as high and low temperature resistance, safety and non-toxicity, good biocompatibility, and good electrical insulation, silicone gel also possesses the properties of gel-like substances such as vibration absorption, adhesion, and sealing.
Applications;
Due to its excellent cushioning properties, colorless and transparent nature, easy performance adjustment, convenient processing and molding, good flowability, and ease of filling fine structures, silicone gel has been widely used in medical prostheses, medical dressings, and electronic and electrical potting. The application of Silica gel in daily necessities is also developing rapidly, mainly utilizing its non-toxic, non-irritating, and cushioning and vibration-absorbing properties. Silicone gel is already being used in products such as shoe sole cushioning pads, seat cushioning, and underwear padding.
Applications:
It is an excellent reinforcing agent for rubber, second only to carbon black in reinforcing performance. It is also used in lubricants and insulating materials.
Applications:
Mainly used for moisture absorption and rust prevention in instruments, meters, and equipment under sealed conditions. It also visually indicates the relative humidity of the environment by the color change from blue to red after absorbing moisture. It can also be used in conjunction with ordinary desiccants to indicate the degree of moisture absorption of the desiccant and to determine the relative humidity of the environment.
Applications:
Type I Ultra-pure Silica Gel: Used as the most commonly used normal-phase chromatography packing material, widely used in the purification of pharmaceutical intermediates and the extraction of natural products.
Type II Ultra-pure Silica Gel: Used for sample pretreatment in the detection of pesticide residues in food and the detection of aroma in tobacco leaves.
Type III Ultra-pure Silica Gel: Used for RoHS compliant testing.
Type IV Ultra-pure-18 Packing Material.
Packaging: 25kg/bag
