Applications

1.Polymer synthesis raw material: Used as a key monomer in the production of PET resins, copolyesters, and biodegradable polyesters.

2.Foam and elastomer additive: Added to flexible polyurethane foams to improve cell uniformity and thermal stability; also functions as a plasticizer.

3.Coating and adhesive material: Formulated into paints, varnishes, UV-curable resins, and unsaturated polyester resins to enhance film properties.

4.Recycling and regeneration intermediate: Depolymerizes waste PET (bottles, polyester fabrics) into BHET via glycolysis, enabling closed-loop recycling.
