It is a high-activity alkylating reagent and organic synthetic intermediate, mainly applied in pharmaceuticals, pesticides, polymer materials and fine chemical industries, which can provide butylated functional groups and activate reaction sites.

1. **Pharmaceutical Intermediates**

Applied in the synthesis of anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-tumor and other medicines. It acts as a key building block to introduce n-butyl groups or activate sulfonate groups. It is also used for the construction of heterocyclic compounds as well as functional group protection and deprotection, improving reaction selectivity and yield.

2. **Pesticides and Agrochemicals**

Serves as an intermediate for manufacturing herbicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators. It introduces hydrophobic n-butyl groups to enhance lipophilicity and bioavailability. It is also a raw material for synthesizing pesticide emulsifiers and dispersants to improve formulation stability and drug efficacy.

3. **Polymer Material Industry**
