1. Chiral Catalyst Synthesis (Core Application)

It is the key raw material for synthesizing chiral CBS oxazaborolidine catalysts, namely (R)-2-methyl-CBS-oxazaborolidine and (S)-2-methyl-CBS-oxazaborolidine. These chiral catalysts are widely used in asymmetric reduction reactions: asymmetric reduction of ketones to chiral secondary alcohols, asymmetric hydrogenation of aldehydes, and stereoselective synthesis of pharmaceutical chiral intermediates, delivering high enantioselectivity.

2. General Organic Synthesis Intermediate

  1. Suzuki-Miyaura Cross-Coupling Reaction
     

    As a low-carbon alkyl boronic acid monomer, it participates in Suzuki coupling with aryl halides, heteroaryl halides and vinyl halides to introduce methyl groups onto aromatic rings and heterocyclic skeletons. It is indispensable for constructing methyl-substituted aromatics, drug molecular skeletons and OLED luminescent materials.

  2. Boron-containing Building Block Preparation
     

    Used to synthesize various alkyl boronate esters, boroxines and other organoboron intermediates for subsequent functional group conversion, such as hydroxylation, amination and halogenation.

3. Pharmaceutical Intermediate Manufacturing
