I. Primary Application: Functional Additive for Lithium-ion Battery Electrolytes (accounting for over 95% of market demand)

1. Co-solvent for electrolytes
Boasting an ultra-high dielectric constant (>100), it can be blended in small dosages as an auxiliary main solvent to promote lithium salt dissociation. It is rarely used as a standalone main solvent due to high viscosity and cost.
2. Fluorine-containing intermediate for organic synthesis
Used to synthesize other cyclic fluorocarbonates, fluorinated fine chemicals, pharmaceutical and electronic fluorine-containing intermediates (very low consumption).
3. Electrolyte additive for supercapacitors & lithium-ion capacitors
Extends cycle life and improves low-temperature rate performance of capacitors.
