Diisobutyl maleate

Uses:
Diisobutyl maleate is often added as a flexible monomer in acrylic or vinyl acetate copolymerization reactions.

Use:
Its ester bond structure imparts excellent flexibility and compatibility, making it an active component in non-phthalate plasticizer formulations.
It can improve the flexibility of resin systems such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyvinyl ether, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Use:
It is used to prepare maleate derivatives, maleic acid amides, and surfactants.
For example, amidation and addition reactions can generate a variety of functional compounds.
