1.Application scope:

Cyclododecanone contains a large ring structure, which not only has the reaction characteristics of general cycloketones, but also has some special reactivity that small rings and rings do not have, so it can be used in the synthesis of some special structural compounds and the synthesis of photoactive compounds. The development history of the global cyclododecone industry is relatively early. In 1926, Ruzicka’s group used binary fatty acids to synthesize cyclododecone in the study of improving the preparation of cyclododecone. At present, cyclododecone has been applied in spices, nylon, pesticides and other fields abroad.

First of all, cyclododecanone is in limited demand in the fragrance industry.

Cyclododecanone can be used in the field of spices to produce musketone, cyclopentadecenone, 5-cyclohexadecenone, cyclopentadecenone, etc. The best application prospect of cyclododecone is musketone. Musketone is one of the main raw materials for the production of medicinal artificial musk, which has a good market prospect.

Secondly, the application of cyclododecanone in nylon field still needs to be expanded.

The production process of nylon 12 includes oxidation oxime method, photonitrosation method, Snia method, cyclohexanone method, etc. Among them, oxidation oxime is the main process. The preparation of cyclododecanone is one of the important units in the production of nylon 12 by oxime method. cyclododecone production capacity and demand will also be greatly increased. However, at this stage, because nylon 12 has not been industrialized in China, the demand for cyclododecanone is small.

2.Notes for Attention:

1. Wear protective glasses, protective clothing, masks and gloves before using 830-13-7 to avoid contact with skin.
2. If toxic or irritating substances or harmful substances are encountered during the experiment, the experimental operation should be completed in the glove box if necessary to avoid causing harm to the experimenters.
3. The pipette head of sample 830-13-7 should be replaced in time, and the filter element suction head should be selected as far as possible to avoid cross contamination if necessary.
4. Use weighing paper when weighing drugs, and take medicine and weighing in a draftfree place to avoid spreading, and ensure that the container of reagents is clean and disinfected before use.
5. When taking medicine 830-13-7, use multiple medicine spoons as far as possible, and clean them after use.
6. The waste generated after the experiment should be classified and stored, and handed over to a professional biological waste gas treatment company for treatment, so as not to cause environmental pollution.
