Bisoctrizole

Introduction;
Bisoctrizole is a high-performance benzotriazole UV absorber. UV absorbers are organic compounds that selectively and strongly absorb harmful ultraviolet radiation from sunlight while possessing high lightfastness. Due to their oil resistance, colorfastness, low volatility, and good polymer compatibility, they are widely used in various synthetic materials and products, especially in automotive coatings where they are the most commonly used and effective UV absorbers. The expanding applications of engineering and modified plastics have created both demand and potential for UV absorbers.

Extremely low volatility, good material compatibility, and minimal leaching from materials even at higher concentrations, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring high processing performance, thermal stability, and weather resistance.

Applications;
Bisoctrizole is a highly efficient UV absorber capable of absorbing 300-400nm ultraviolet light and is widely compatible with a variety of resins. It has very low volatility and can be used with other light stabilizers or antioxidants. Suitable for acrylates, polyesters, polycarbonates, polyoxymethylene, polyamides, polyolefins, styrene polymers, elastomers, adhesives, etc. It can be produced as a powder, solution, or melt extrusion molding. It prevents crystallization and sublimation and can also be used in casting, thin-layer application of fibers, paper, and wallpaper.

Applications:
Suitable for PP and PE, and also for polystyrene, ABS resin, PVC, nylon, polyurethane, etc.
