✨Product Desctiption

Ambrettolide, also known as Oxacycloheptadec-10-en-2-one, is a high-purity, 17-membered macrocyclic lactone. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow, slightly viscous liquid. 

🧩 Applications

• Fine Fragrances: Acts as a superb fixative with exceptional diffusion and a very fine, musky, floral, and slightly fruity character. It enhances “radiance” and provides volume to floral accords like iris, rose, and magnolia, even at trace concentrations (0.1–5%).

• Personal Care: Imparts a luxurious, clean, and sensual musky undertone to a variety of products, including shampoos, shower gels, lotions, and soaps.

• Fabric Care: Used in premium fabric softeners and detergents to provide a long-lasting, sophisticated freshness.

• Flavor Industry: Approved for use as a flavoring agent (FEMA 4145) to add a “mellowing” effect in trace amounts.

🏭 Storage Conditions

• Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.

• Keep container tightly closed and protected from light.

• Under proper storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of 24 months (or 730 days). When stored for more than 24 months, quality should be checked before use.

• Store in properly labeled containers in accordance with all local regulations.
