ALPHA-NAPHTHYL METHACRYLATE

1-Naphthol Methacrylate (CAS: 19102-44-4) is mainly a functional organic monomer belonging to the methacrylate derivatives.

Its structure combines the aromatic naphthol ring of 1-naphthol with the reactive double bond of methacrylate, giving it photosensitivity and polymerizability.

Its main functions and applications include:

1. Monomer for UV-curable systems

   • Used in UV-curable coatings, inks, and adhesives as a reactive diluent or functional monomer to improve the hardness, wear resistance, heat resistance, and chemical resistance of cured films.

2. Modifier for high-performance polymer materials
